Tips for Hampton Park Residents
*Be alert to suspicious activity & report it to the Chesterfield Police immediately.
*Call the Police non-emergency number 804-748-1251. If in doubt, call the Police! That’s what they recommend. Examples:
teenagers running around Hampton Park's playgrounds and community after 11:00 pm country curfew, hearing gunshots any time of day, an unfamiliar car with a driver “lurking” around play areas and vacant homes, or any other suspicious activity
*Do your part to prevent Larceny from autos by rolling up windows and locking doors when your not in your vehicle.
*Keep informed about neighborhood activities by signing up for Hampton Park's emergency and news updates.
*Secure your home and personal property.
*Stop newspaper & mail delivery when you leave for your vacation or have a neighbor pick-up your mail & newspaper while you are away.
*Inform your neighbors if you plan to be away so we can pay special attention to your home.
*Leave your pole light and/or garage light on each night. Illuminated property reduces crime.
*Install motion detector type exterior lighting.
*Neighborhood Watch does not condone any vigilante actions. You should not take any personal risks. Call the Police!
