Hampton Park Community Association, Inc.

REVISIONS TO THE HAMPTON PARK ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES - PROCEDURE

The Hampton Park Architectural Standards and Guidelines can be revised by an appointed ARB Committee and revisions require approval of the Board of Directors.  Input from homeowners will be considered however, the Board of Directors is charged by the Articles of Incorporation and the Declaration of Covenants to “To do any and all things and acts that the Corporation, from time to time, in its discretion, may be deemed for the benefit of the Common Properties and the Members, or advisable, proper and convenient for the promotion of the peace, health, comfort, safety or general welfare of such Members….”

In October, 2011 The Hampton Park Board of Directors voted to contract with Design Management Associates to manage Hampton Park's Architectural Review process.   This change will improve the time it takes to receive an application, review that application, and the time needed to request and receive more information (if needed).  It will als provide a thoroughly explained decision.

DMA will convert the review process from a committee review to a staff review, much like the county building permitting process.  DMA will also have the ability to review proposed improvements twice a month.

The following fee schedule will apply:

$150.00 for additions

$65.00 for decks, screening, sheds, fence, landscape, hardscape and extensive landscaping plans

$35.00 for exterior lot modifications (play structures, exterior colors, decorative objects.

These fees will offset the review service provided by DMA.

DMA will serve at the discretion of the Hampton Park Board of Directors, and they are responsible for promulgating rules and procedures for architectural control, the single family residential portion of Hampton Park and for the review and approval of all exterior alterations to existing properties. They are also charged with administering the adopted rules and procedures for Hampton Park, as needed.
